Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System

After having brought you details of the B&W MT-20 and Quad L-ite Speaker system, we could not leave out the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System which have already won several awards since their launch earlier this year.

The first time people got to hear and see the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System was at the Bristol Hi-Fi show back in February held at the Marriott City Centre Hotel. Since then Acoustic Energy have improved the sub woofer even further to produce a more solid tighter bass. As a result the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System have been awarded What Hi-Fi's 2006 Best Speaker Packages and to do this, the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System had to see off some fairly healthy competition.

The Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System consists of the Aego-T Subwoofer, a 100 watt active sub which produces bass from 30-250hz. Unlike many 5.1 speaker systems, the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System has no dedicated centre speaker, instead the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System is bundled with five Aego-T satellite speakers, a two way infinite baffle design with curved cabinets to reduce internal resonance and break up reflections of standing waves. Each Aego-T satellite speaker can handle up to 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and measure only 20cm in height.

Priced competively at £800, Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System offer extremely good value for money and are able to reproduce some fairly impressive dynamics for the money. If you shop around you may even be able to find the Acoustic Energy Aero T 5.1 Speaker System even cheaper.
