Arcam FMJ T32 DAB Tuner

Another Arcam product that was previewed at last month's CES show alongside the forthcoming Arcam FMJ Blu-Ray Player was the FMJ T32 DAB Tuner, which hopefully should be on show at the forthcoming Bristol Sound and Vision Show.
Arcam were the first ever manufacturer to launch a DAB tuner, the Arcam Alpha 10 back in 2000 and have been designing FM tuners for over thirty years and the FMJ T32 follows on this line with a high quality DAB tuner that has some worthwhile extra features to boot.
The Arcam FMJ T32 DAB tuner is a very high quality tuner that pushes the accepted sound quality of digital audio broadcasts to the limit and also incorporates compatibility for the forthcoming DAB+ standard. Arcam have also included a fully discrete FM/AM tuner as well as an Ipod docking interface in the form of their rDock system. If this was not enough, they have also included Sirius satellite radio compatibility and an RS232 interface in the FMJ T32 DAB tuner for use in Creston/AMX custom installs. The digital to audio conversion side of the Arcam FMJ T32 DAB tuner is handled by the highly regarded audiophile Wolfson 8740 DAC and the analogue output stage uses a Burr Brown OPA2134 which is noted for its smooth but detailed warm sound.
The Arcam FMJ T32 DAB Tuner also features a large toroidal transformer in its low noise regulated DC output power supplies and the components are mounted on double sided fibreglass printed circuit boards. On the front of the tuner, the Arcam FMJ T32 DAB tuner features a large tuning knob, preset buttons and a scrolling visual display which is easy to read in any type of light with a wide viewing angle.
The Arcam FMJ T32 DAB tuner is on sale now priced £500 and incorporates the very latest DAB tuner technology whilst extracting as much detail of sound as possible from the format.
