Bose SoundDock Digital Music System

Not being a personal fan of the Apple Ipod, I could not help but write a review on this excellent product from Bose, the Bose SoundDock Digital Music System which essentially allows you to turn your Ipod into a micro system that can be listened to any room. The other thing about Bose equipment is that it just extremely sexy and always distinguishable as Bose, and this all white docking station is no exception. You might think that Apple invented ‘white’ hi-fi’ goods, but Bose has been producing hi-fi goods in white for donkeys years !.

As with all Bose speaker enclosures this docking station utilizes Bose’s proprietary acoustic design, Digital Signal Processing and an automatic equalizer to enhance the sound and provide a full open sound and accurate output at high volume from a tiny enclosure in comparison to a bookshelf speaker enclosure. The Docking station also provides a built in charger for your Ipod and a remote control which takes care of the basic Ipod functions so you can relax in your chair and select what you want to listen to .

The speakers are also magnetically shielded so you dont have to worry about placing near a televison which could cause interference.

A mighty impressive and handy unit especially if you are restricted on space in your home, or ideal if you are a student or regularly travel and want to listen to your Ipod on the road. More information is available from Bose’s website.
