The designers and engineers at Bowers and Wilkins have paid particular attention to the design of the M1 satellite spaker. The speakers are extremely small but have a clam shell type design that means there is only one join which makes them very strong and rigid. The drive units are attached to the front baffle and consist of a 4" inch glass woven bass unit which has five resin glue slots which minimize colouration and maintain the cone's rigidness when driven hard. The tweeter is B&W's own 1" high efficiency metal dome tweeter with neodymium magnet that features in so many other Bowers and Wilkins speakers.
The result is not only a loudspeaker system that looks wonderfully sexy but also provides a sound quality to match capable of filling even the largest of rooms, and at £875 a set offers very good value for money.
