Gold Plated Banana Plugs

If anyone is having difficulty sourcing some high quality banana plugs at a budget price then here are a couple of options available through Maplin Electronics either through their networks of stores or direct online. Good quality connections are a must in any system, and these two plugs offer excellent value for money.
The first is a standard 4mm gold plated connector that has two screws within the main shell to which a cable of up to 10mm can be firmly connected either by using the screws or solder (preferably a high quality silver solder), and then the coloured case merely screws up the shell to cover up the connection niceley. These plugs offer excellent value for money at £1.81 each and come in two colurs, black and red.
The secornd is an all gold connector that allows connection through a large centre hole that tightens to give a secure fit, the other feature of these plugs is that they allow another plug to attached at the back as well making them an ideal choice as a connector at the back of an amplifier where bi-wiring is required. These plugs are slightly more expensive at £2.13 each and come in two colurs, black and red.
Worth considering for those on a tight budget.
