Roberts Robi

Roberts have long since had a reputation as the one of the finest manufacturers of radios on the planet which is why they are only one of the very few audio producers to carry the royal warrant. In recent years they have naturally moved into the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) market and their latest offering, the Roberts Robi is a DAB receiver designed for use with the Apple Ipod.
The Roberts Robi is extremely compact measuring only 33x53x14mm (width, height, depth). The small size is accomplished because the Roberts Robi is powered by the attached Ipod (no batteries needed) and doubles up as a remote control as it is located between the Ipod and the headphones. The Roberts Robi is also incredibly lightweight weighing in at only 30 grammes.
For a such a small device the Roberts Robi boasts a lot of features such as DAB/FM RDS stereo wavebands, FM RDS station name display, automatic tuning and favourite station mode. It also compatible with the Ipod Nano and I can see it being incredibly popular this christmas with music lovers and sports lovers who want to listen on the go.
The Roberts Robi is due to be launched in early November and will hit the shelves with a very modest price tag of £49.99 given its quality and features.

Very cool, its tiny. I have seen another that is a black block that hangs on the bottom of the ipod and it looks bulky and ugly.

A useful accessory for the ROBi would be a power lead to interpose between iPod & ROBi. Useful to use in hotel rooms etc.
